Cris Cyborg, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Holly Holm, Kayla Harrison make SI Most Fit Female Athletes List
A trio of mixed martial arts superstars and one MMA hopeful have made this year’s Sports Illustrated list of the Top 50 Most Fit Female Athletes. UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino, former bantamweight champion Holly Holm, and former strawweight title contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz have found homes on the list.
Also, U.S. Olympic Gold Medal winner Kayla Harrison found a spot at number 30. Harrison is currently signed to the Professional Fighters League and will make her MMA debut sometime in the near future. She won gold in judo in both the London and Rio Olympic games.
Justino came in at number 26 on the list, Kowalkiewicz, 22, and Holm found a spot at number 12.
Also, on the list, 22-year-old, two-time Olympic boxing gold medalist Claressa Shields is on the list ahead of the group at number six.

On the men’s list, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson came in at number 15. Boxing champion Gennady Golovkin appeared at number 11, Olympic wrestler Jordan Buroughs number 10, and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor at number 9.
