Strike Hard Productions 59’s Hawraz Syan: “Give him as much pressure as I can!”

Hawraz Syan last competed inside of the cage in July of 2019. With such a long time away from the cage, Syan is chomping at the bit to take home not only a win but a new piece of hardware with it.

This Saturday, March 6th, Strike Hard Productions 59 goes down Chattanooga, TN for the second show of their 2021 calendar year. Syan will be stepping up a weight class to vie for the vacant welterweight title.

In his way, will be hard-hitting Indiana native, Cameron VanCamp. VanCamp has a vast experience advantage over Syan, but no matter. “I look at a person and I try to see and I try to study them what they do and what they’ve done,” he says. “I don’t care who it is. I just want to get back in the cage,” Syan eagerly says.

While Syan’s main concern was getting back in the cage, he certainly “wasn’t expecting to come back in the cage for a title, honestly,” he admits. “I saw that he had three title fights. I was like why not go for it?” he rhetorically asks. With his mindset of, “If I’m driving 10 hours away.” He rationalizes, “go for it!”

“He’s not afraid of getting hit,” Syan confesses about his VanCamp. “And I love that because I’m gonna be one of those guys that love getting hit too.” Eager to test his standup skills, Syan says, “My hands have gotten a lot better. This fight, a lot of people are going to see what I can do standing!”

When all is said and done, “Who’s the man that night? You know what I mean? It goes like that,” Syan closes, finalizing with, “I gotta bring that title home!”

Tune in above as Hawraz Syan checks in with MyMMANews to breakdown his first fight back in over a year. He discusses stepping up to the challenge of a title fight in another weight class, what he’s been working on since his last fight and so much more!
