Tanner Boser previews his upcoming fight against Rodrigo Nascimento at UFC Vegas 60
Tanner Boser is happy to finally be able to compete again inside of the octagon.
Last year, Boser picked up a knockout win over former UFC title challenger Ovince Saint Preux and was looking to build upon his success, however following the win, Boser would have a series of unfortunate events take place.
He was booked to fight Sergei Pavlovich later in the year, but a traveling issue due to the COVID-19 pandemic would cancel the fight.
Then Boser was booked to fight Rodrigo Nascimento in April, but Nascimento had to pull out of the fight. Boser made the decision to remain on that card and accept a fight with Alexandr Romanov, but then Boser suffered an injury of his own and was forced pull out of the fight.
Now Boser is healed up and ready go on a run in the heavyweight division. His first fight of this year will take place at UFC Vegas 60 on Sept. 17 and his opponent will be Nascimento as the UFC decided to rebook the fight.
Prior to UFC Vegas 60, MyMMANews spoke with Boser to discuss his upcoming fight, the series of events that led up to this point, doing commentary work on UFC Fight Pass and he discussed being a NHL fan of his hometown Edmonton Oilers and having a cousin on the San Jose Sharks.
