Tecia Torres and Angela Hill to rematch at UFC 256
Tecia Torres and Angela Hill are set to rematch at UFC 256 on Dec. 12. MMA Junkie was first to report the news
The two strawweights previously fought five years ago at UFC 188 in which Torres picked up a unanimous decision victory.
Torres (11-5) is coming off a win in June against Brianna Van Buren. The win snapped a four-fight losing streak for “The Tiny Tornado.” Those four losses came against world class talent as she fell to Jessica Andrade, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Zhang Weili and Marina Rodriguez.
Hill (12-9) is coming off back-to-back losses to Claudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson. Both of those losses were close and Hill ended up on the losing end of the split decisions. Hill is known for being an active fighter and this fight will mark her fifth of 2020.
There is no official location for UFC 256, but the event is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
