Terry Gold, Brooklyn MMA to be very busy at Ring of Combat 60
Brooklyn MMA returns to Ring of Combat
Ring of Combat takes it’s normal spot in the Tropicana Showroom for another title laden, action-packed fight card, brought to you by former world champion kickboxer, Louis Neglia, Sep. 15 with ROC 60.
Neglia has made it routine to bring the top regional talent into his cage and entertain the crowds in Atlantic City. Brooklyn MMA has become a regular player at these events.
Terry Gold started the first legitimate mixed martial arts facility in Brooklyn in 2008 and has earned a spot among the best that the city and state of New York has to offer. Gold will send three of his warriors into battle on this night. Nekruz Mirkhojaev (2-2) got off to a fast start with two victories but has suffered losses in his last two. He squares off against the 3-2 Jerome Mickle.
Gold is very excited and confident for the debut of Snipes George, who he said has a very bright future. He takes on another New Yorker making his professional debut in Alex Oliveira.
Brandon “Mega” Urquijo (2-1) is coming off of his first career loss in a title fight at ROC 59 and looks to get back in the win column vs Phil Caracappa(2-0). Mega lost a very close decision and has a high motor to go along with the motivation of getting the taste of his first loss ever out of his mouth. A victory could vault him right back into title contention.
Gold takes pride in building his fighters and his facility into something they can be proud of. Of course we touched on Mayweather v McGregor and Jon Jones before getting down and dirty for Ring of Combat 60!
