With six wins by submission, Moises put his striking on display by outpointing Hernandez. Moises found a home for his right hand and leg kicks.
Although Hernandez pushed the pace often, Moises consistently countered.
Moises makes it three-straight wins as he improves to 15-4, Hernandez falls to 12-4.

In the co-main event, Nikita Krylov looks to crack the top-15 of light heavyweights when he fights No. 11 Magomed Ankalaev inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Serving as the preliminary headliner is a lightweight affair between Alexander Hernandez and Thiago Moises. Hernandez is fresh off a “Performance of the Night” victory after knocking out Chris Grutetzemacher in the first round at UFC Vegas 12 this past October.
The 28-year-old is 4-2 inside the octagon since making your UFC debut in March 2018. His most recent defeat was a second-round TKO loss to Drew Dober at UFC Fight Night 171 in May.
Moises is coming off back-to-back wins over long-time UFC veterans Bobby Green and Michael Johnson. The 25-year-old is 3-2 inside the octagon.
He earned a UFC contract by finishing Gleldson Moraes Cutis on Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2018.
