Tim Elliott and Amir Albazi to meet in June
The UFC brass is eyeing a June 25th matchup between flyweights Tim Elliott and Amir Albazi.
The two have been engaging in a war on Twitter with one another over the last few days. During their twitter-war, the two had this to share with each other:

By the looks of it, not only do these two not like each other but the matchup should be a done deal very soon.
Elliott (18-12-1) has been in the UFC for quite some time and has faced the very best in the flyweight division. He has gone head-to-head with the likes of Demetrious Johnson, Deiveson Figueiredo, and Brandon Royval. Though he suffered defeats against the top guys, he has collected victories over solid opposition such as Louis Smolka, Mark De La Rosa, and Ryan Benoit.
Most recently, the 11th ranked flyweight defeated Tagir Ulanbekov by way of a unanimous decision at UFC 272: Covington vs. Masvidal.
Across the octagon will be 13th ranked Albazi (14-1-0). Despite not having quite the resume that Elliott has collected over the years, Albazi has not lost since 2019. In his UFC debut, he defeated Malcolm Gordon via a triangle choke.
In his most recent outing, “The Prince” defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov via unanimous decision at UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2.
Come June, the two flyweight contenders will be able to settle their beef in the octagon.
As of now, no other bouts have been announced for the Fight Night event, but we will keep you updated here at MyMMANews.
