Tim Johnson discusses victory at Bellator 243 and addresses headbutt concerns
Bellator heavyweight Tim Johnson has added a second win in a row following a TKO victory over Matt Mitrione at Bellator 243. The win did include a little bit of controversy as many felt a headbutt impacted the fight.
Johnson assures that the headbutt was simply a “love tap” and that it had no effect on the outcome of the fight. The talks of the headbutt did sour the victory for the UFC veteran.
The victory now takes him to 2-2 in Bellator after a rough start in 2018. Now the win streak includes contender Mitrione and hot prospect Tyrell Fortune.
