Titan FC 77 results – Pena vs. Wurlitzer
Titan Fighting Championship officials held Titan FC 77 from the National Guard Armory in Miramar, Florida on June 3rd. The event’s main card is scheduled to broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass. The card currently hosts five pro MMA bouts and will feature several notable prospects on the Florida regional scene.
In the main event, UFC veteran, Luis Pena (10-3), makes his second walk to the Titan FC cage as he takes on Brazil’s, Gustavo Wurlitzer (24-25, 1NC).
Pena makes his sequel promotional appearance after scoring a 59-second submission victory at Titan FC 76. Wurlitzer looks to kick off a win streak in his Titan FC debut as he earned a first round submission win in his last bout.
The Bantamweight co-headliner, involves top prospect out of American Top Team, Sal Guerriero (5-1), and MMA Masters’, Wendel Araujo (5-3).
Guerriero hopes to pile on a fifth straight finish in his sixth walk to the Titan FC cage. Araujo is a two-time World Champion in Capoeira and looks to show off his explosive ability in his return to action.
Also, Dean Barry (4-2) was to make his return for his third promotional appearance, following a bout with the UFC back in April. Barry had to pull out of his scheduled fight against Julio Cesar Chaves. At the last possible moment, UFC fighter Charles Rosa stepped up to meet Chaves in a submission grappling contest.
Other notable names on the card include Heavyweights out of Sanford MMA, Daiqwon Buckley (2-0), who makes the walk to the Titan FC cage for the first time following a TKO win on the PFL Challenger Series, and Katuma Mulumba (0-0).
Titan FC 77 will kick off live on UFC Fight Pass at 8 p.m. ET.
