Kansas City-based combat sports brand invests in local fighting promotion

Kansas City, Mo. – TITLE MMA, headquartered in Lenexa, Kan., is teaming up with Shamrock FC, a Kansas City/St. Louis-based mixed martial arts promotions company, for six upcoming professional fight events taking place at Ameristar Casino, located at 3200 N. Ameristar Dr. in Kansas City. The first event is on Friday, May 29, 2015 and promises to deliver an action packed evening of combat sports. The fight card features established mixed martial artists and newcomers looking to secure a following of their own.

“There are local and regional fight promotions around the world that produce great entertainment, but have trouble getting visibility because of a lack of sponsors,” said Brian Miller, promotions manager for Shamrock FC in Kansas City. “Having TITLE support our events gives us and our fighters an opportunity to grow substantially.”

TITLE products are used in training gyms around the world and showcase dozens of professional fighters, including those competing on May 29, such as William Joplin and Deron Carlis.

“We have great relationships with fighters all over the country at all levels of success and recognition,” said Douglas Ward, Director of Marketing at TITLE Boxing/TITLE MMA. “The next step is to help them get exposed to more fans, and there’s no better place to start than in our own backyard. This relationship with Shamrock is great for Kansas City, because it’s going to shine a spotlight on top quality athletes and entertainment.”
