TJ Laramie vs Damon Jackson is reportedly being targeted to kick off UFC’s May schedule.
Following early reports from MMA Empire and MMA Lock of the Night, confirmation of this fight news came from MMA Junkie and MMA Fighting via multiple sources who are close to the bout.
News on this May 1st UFC event is minimal in certain regards with a location and venue not known as of this writing.
This featherweight affair between Laramie and Jackson pits a former TKO champion against a former Legacy FC/ interim LFA champion, respectively.

Jackson is presently on his second run in the UFC with LFA and PFL stints in between. The Fortis MMA product went 0-1-1 with one no-contest from 2014 to 2016 in the octagon and is presently 1-1 in his last couple of outings since re-signing with the UFC.
Damon Jackson reinserted himself into the UFC picture in a big way. He scored an emphatic submission win over Mirsad Bektic in the third round of their September bout.
Laramie is a Contender Series product who secured his UFC contract by finishing Daniel Swain in August 2020.
The Truth also captured the PFC featherweight championship prior to his DWCS foray. That PFC title victory served as the final capstone of his regional run on the Canadian MMA scene.

Laramie was submitted via guillotine choke in the opening round of his UFC debut. He lost to Darrick Minner at UFC Fight Night in September.
Jackson also tasted defeat in the opening frame but he lost via punches. He was felled by Ilia Topuria at UFC Fight Night in December.
