Trey Ogden talks first career UFC win at UFC Vegas 60
Trey Ogden picked up a milestone victory at UFC Vegas 60.
Ogden came into the fight as an underdog and was going against Daniel Zellhuber, who was supposed to have a massive striking advantage in the fight.
In the lead up to the fight, Ogden thought he was going to throw Zellhuber right to the canvas and submit him in the opening round.
As the fight played out, none of the pre-fight assumptions were accurate.
After a feeling out process to the start the fight, Ogden and Zellhuber would eventually pick up the pace and when they did, it was Ogden who was the better fighter all night.
Throughout the course of the 15 minute contest, Zellhuber would try to get his striking going, but it was Ogden who was always a step ahead as he was beating Zellhuber to the punch and countering all night long.
At the end of the fight, it was Ogden who got the clear cut unanimous decision win and that victory marked his first under the UFC banner.
Following his first career win inside of the octagon, Ogden spoke with MyMMANews about his performance, being a long time athlete under James Krause, running his own gym and his excitement for his first child who will be born in December.
