Tyler Diamond happy with PFL, calls for more fighters to have side hustles

Interview with Tyler Diamond above

Former TUF 27 (Ultimate Fighter) contestant and now PFL fighter, Tyler Diamond is recovering from injury and patiently waiting the next season of PFL. Diamond and his infamous mullet are happy with the new promotion, and believe that next season we will see the best version of the featherweight.

“I woke up one morning and couldn’t walk,” Diamond told MyMMANews. “I have to get surgery, and for the first time in my career be 100% healthy. So I can be the best version of myself and win the PFL tournament next year.”

Diamond has always had a successful life outside of fighting.  As good as he has looked in the cage, he has created a steady lifestyle out of the cage in businesses and investments, and Diamond believes it is time more fighters follow suit.

“Fighting is hard,” Diamond stated. “A lot of what you make goes to management and training partners, you need other revenue streams. I’m always encouraging guys if there is something to help you not stress about money while in camp, you need to do it.”
