BAMMA is excited to announce that international Kickboxing & MMA sensation Tyrone ‘King Of The Ring’ Spong and UK MMA Standout Luke ‘Bigslow’ Barnatt will be joining BAMMA 24 as team captains for Team Ireland vs. Team England.
Heading up Team Ireland, Tyrone ‘King of the Ring’ Spong is a world renowned Kickboxer and MMA fighter. Born in Suriname and raised in Amsterdam, Spong has competed across the world for various global organisations. Tyrone will be heading up Team Ireland at BAMMA 24 and will bring his global experience to the team in this clash of sporting nations.
Team England’s captain is no stranger to BAMMA, Luke ‘Bigslow’ Barnett returns to the promotion after the very successful behind the scenes documentary ‘Unfiltered’ at BAMMA 23: Night of Champions. Having also previously fought on BAMMA 9: Watson vs. Marshman, Barnatt will be able to bring the England team a wealth of experience as they take on the ultra tough Team Spong.
Luke recently scored a big victory in Italy with a submission in the 4th round of his fight back in December of 2015. The Tsunami Gym standout is ready to bring the Lions roar to Team England as the nations collide in what is set to be an outstanding sporting competition.
