UAE Warriors Will Crown New African Champion

UAE Warriors has continuously put on exciting events and, in the month of September, the promotion makes a return. In true, typical UAE Warriors fashion, there will be two events held over the weekend on September 15th and 16th.

One half of the weekend will focus on the best that the African continent has to offer, and the main event has been confirmed.

Although the final match-up has yet to be announced, fight fans now know that the inaugural UAE Warriors Africa Light Heavyweight Championship will be on the line at the African edition. One of the contenders for the championship has been confirmed by UAE Warriors to be Kevin Oumar.

Oumar made his pro debut in late 2013 on the Western Europe scene and quickly made a name for himself in the 100% Fight promotion. Oumar then had a brief stint with Pancrace Fighting Championship, where he managed to rack up two more wins to add to his record. The French born fighter then made his UAE Warriors debut last year before having another win earlier this year at UAE Warriors 27.

All this has led to the fighter, who is of Comorian blood, being in the prime position to challenge to be the first ever UAE Warriors Africa Light Heavyweight Champion.

Oumar’s opponent is yet to be confirmed but, regardless of the outcome at the event, history will be made as an inaugural champion is crowned.

UAE Warriors 32 and 33 will take place on Thursday, September 15th and Friday, September 16th respectively.

MyMMANews will provide updates on these events as we draw closer to the time.
