An exiting middleweight bout has been added to the UFC 198 card at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil. Uriah Hall will face longtime former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
In the UFC 198 main event, Fabricio Werdum defends his UFC heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic. In the co-main event, it’s an All-Brazil battle as Vitor Belfort faces Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, and also featured on the card is a light heavyweight bout between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Corey Anderson.
Both fighters are coming off losses. Silva most recently in a unanimous decision loss to Michael Bisping just last month. Silva’s professional mixed martial arts record stands at 33-7.
Hall was on a two fight win streak before losing a unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker.
UFC 198 is scheduled for May 14.
