Watch UFC 209 ceremonial weigh-ins – 7pm EST/4pm PST

UFC 209 is headlined by a welterweight title rematch between champion Tyron Woodley and challenger Stephen Thompson. The two fought to a draw at UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden in November.

The evening’s co-main event was to have the interim lightweight title on the line as undefeated 24-0, Khabib Nurmagomedov was set to take on rising star, Tony Ferguson.  The winner would have likely received a shot at champion, Conor McGregor.

**** Just before weigh-ins rumors started circulating that Nurmagomedov had been taken to the hospital.  There were talks about possibly keeping the fight booked but only offering the interim shot to Ferguson. Since then the fight has all together been cancelled.  Story here.
