UFC 244 weigh-in results and video – Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal for BMF title
On Saturday, November 2, the UFC will host UFC 244: Masvidal vs. Diaz from Madison Square Garden in New York.
Weigh-ins were held this morning in anticipation of tomorrow night’s fight, one of the biggest mixed martial arts blockbusters of the year. In the main event, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will go to battle for inaugural “baddest mother**ker” (BMF) title.
The fight has gained worldwide attention, bringing current sitting U.S. President Donald Trump to the event, as well as actor and former professional wrestler, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who will wrap the BMF title around the waist of the main event winner.
In the night’s co-main event slot, former middleweight title contender Kelvin Gastelum will take on former welterweight title contender Darren Till.
Former two-time welterweight title contender Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson will look to avoid being submitted by BJJ ace Vicente Luque, while heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Blagoy Ivanov will each look to land a crushing knockout blow.
Kevin Lee opens up the pay-per-view portion of the card against a man he says is his ‘most dangerous opponent to date,’ in Gregor Gillespie.
The event kicks off with three preliminary-card bouts streaming on ESPN+ at 6:15 p.m. ET. The action then moves to ESPN 2 for the remainder of the prelims at 8 p.m. ET. The five-fight main card airs live on ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
The fighters hit the scales at 6 p.m. ET on Friday, for the ceremonial weigh-ins.
