UFC 247 results – Jones vs. Reyes, Shevchenko vs. Chookagian

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the Lone Star State with UFC 247 being held at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

The UFC pay-per-view event features two title bouts.

In the main event, light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones put his belt on the line against undefeated Dominick Reyes.

In the night’s co-main event slot, women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defended her title against Katlyn Chookagian in what appeared to be mostly a one-sided fight.

Yesterday, Antonio Arroyo successfully made weight for his UFC 247 preliminary bout against Trevin Giles. Hours later, Arroyo was forced to withdraw after falling ill. Miraculously, James Krause just happened to be on standby and will take the fight on just 24 hours notice.

The card kicks off with a preliminary card stream on ESPN+ at 6:30 p.m. The undercard continues on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, with the five-fight main card airing live on ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
