UFC 263 weigh-in results – Adesanya vs. Vettori 2
Two UFC titles are on the line at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday, June 12.
In the UFC 263 main event, middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will defend his title against Marvin Vettori in a rematch of their UFC on FOX bout in 2018. In that bout, which took place prior to Adesanya winning the championship, Vettori would drop a split decision.
Adesanya is coming off a unanimous decision loss from when he moved up in weight to challenge current light heavyweight champion Jan Błachowicz back in March. Vettori has not lost a contest since losing the decision to Izzy.
In the night’s co-main event, another rematch as current flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo defends his championship belt against the challenger in Brandon Moreno. These two men fought to a majority draw at UFC 256 in December 2020, an instant classic at 125-pounds.
Also on the card, Leon Edwards meets the returning Nate Diaz for a shot at the UFC welterweight title following Colby Covington’s upcoming opportunity.
The UFC 263 official weigh-ins are at 12 p.m. ET which are then followed by the ceremonial weigh-ins at 7 p.m. ET.
