UFC 271 weigh-in results – Adesanya vs. Whittaker 2
The UFC will hold UFC 271 on Saturday, February 12. The event, which emanates from Toyota Center in Houston, Texas will be headlined by a middleweight title rematch between current champion Israel Adesanya and former champion Robert Whittaker.
Adesanya claimed the title from Whittaker in the second frame of their first outing at UFC 243 in October 2019. Adesanya has gone on to successfully defend the strap three times since then, and also moved up to light heavyweight once where he challenged then champion Jan Blachowicz, but lost a unanimous decision.
In the evening’s co-main event, former UFC heavyweight title contender Derrick Lewis looks to inch one step closer to another crack at the belt, while competing in his home state, against Tai Tuivasa.
Weigh-ins are expected to take place at 10 am ET.
