UFC 289 weigh-in results and video – Nunes vs. Aldana
UFC officials will hold weigh-ins today in anticipation of Saturday’s UFC 289 fight card from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Official weigh-ins will begin at noon ET on June 9 and you can watch that show above.
In the main event, UFC women’s bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes will put her belt 135-pounds on the line against contender Irene Aldana. Nunes was initially scheduled to have a trilogy bout against former champion Julianna Pena who was forced to withdraw due to injury.
In the co-main event slot, former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira meets rising contender Beneil Dariush in what could determine the next fighter to earn a shot at gold at 155-pounds.
