UFC Charlotte salaries: Matt Brown and Anthony Smith lead the way
The salaries from UFC Charlotte have been disclosed.
On Saturday, the UFC headed to Charlotte, North Carolina for a pretty solid UFC Charlotte card. In the main event, Jailton Almeida took on Jairzinho Rozensturik while in the co-main event, Johnny Walker took on Anthony Smith.
Ultimately, it was Almeida winning by first-round submission in the main event to pick up the biggest win of his career. In the co-main event, Walker won a unanimous decision to enter the top five at light heavyweight.
After the event, the salaries have been released, and Matt Brown – who KO’d Court McGee on the prelims – and Smith who lost to Walker were the two highest-earning fighters from the card.
