UFC Copenhagen results: Jack Hermansson vs. Jared Cannonier

UFC Copenhagen took place at the Royal Arena and streamed on ESPN+.
A pivotal matchup in the middleweight division headlined the event as Jack Hermansson looked to take another step up the 185-pound ladder as he took on the dangerous Jared Cannonier. Hermansson had won his last four fights while Cannonier aimed to extend his winning streak to three.
”The Joker” most recently defeated Jacare Souza on short notice in the main event of April’s UFC Sunrise event. Less than a month earlier, Hermansson submitted David Branch in under a minute at UFC on ESPN 2.
Cannonier made his presence felt at 185 pounds with back-to-back TKO wins over Branch and former longtime middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
In the end, Cannonier was able to get the early finish via TKO in the second round.
In the co-main event, former Olympic silver medalist Mark Madsen made an impact in his UFC debut against Danilo Belluardo, finishing the fight in just over a minute via TKO
