UFC Fight Night 118 results from Gdansk, Poland – Cerrone vs. Till
UFC Fight Night 118 took place today at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland.
The UFC Fight Night 118 fight card streamed exclusively on UFC Fight Pass and was headlined by a welterweight fight between Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Darren Till.
The more experienced Cerrone was finished via strikes in the first round and Till’s stardom is now undoubtedly on thh rise.
Only one fighter failed to make weight yesterday as middleweight Sam Alvey (31-9 MMA, 8-4 UFC), took the fight with Ramazan Emeev (15-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) on short notice. Alvey came in at 189 pounds. The fight went on as scheduled but Alvey was fined 20 percent of his purse. Alvey would lose a unanimous decision.
UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor was in attendance and caused a scene as he was trying to coach teammate and friend Artem Lobov. Because McGregor was not an official cornerman the fight had to temporarily be stopped and McGregor forced to move from area.
