UFC Fight Night 118 weigh-in results – Sam Alvey misses weight on short notice fight

UFC Fight Night 118 takes place tomorrow at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland. Weigh-ins for the card were held earlier today and a ceremonial event will be held later this evening.

The UFC Fight Night 118 fight card will stream exclusively on UFC Fight Pass and is headlined by a welterweight fight between Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Darren Till.

Only one fight failed to make weight, middleweight Sam Alvey (31-9 MMA, 8-4 UFC), took the fight with Ramazan Emeev (15-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) on short notice. Alvey came in at 189 pounds. The fight will go on as scheduled but Alvey will be fined 20 percent of his purse.
