UFC Fight Night 125 Results – Eryk Anders vs Lyoto Machida

UFC Fight Night 125 from the Mangueirinho Gymnasium in Belemwill air on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida (22-8 MMA, 14-8 UFC) and Eryk Anders (10-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), met at middleweight.  Anders missed weight yesterday on his first attempt, coming in at 187.9 pounds.  He was given an extra hour and made 186 on the second attempt.

After Pedro Munhoz missed weight by four pounds for his UFC Belem bout yesterday against John Dodson, UFC pulled the fight from tonight’s event due to Dodson not wanting to take the fight.

Moving into the co-main event slot was the flyweight bout between Valentina Shevchenko and Priscila Cachoeira.  The former bantamweight title contender Shevchenko put all flyweights on notice with her dominating and brutal win over the UFC newcomer.

Iuri Alcantara defeated Joe Soto via TKO (strikes) – Round 1, 1:06
