UFC Fight Night 68 takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, June 6.
In the main event, a legend in Dan Henderson could have been appearing in his final mixed martial arts bout as he took on Tim “the Barbarian” Boetsch in a middleweight clash. NOTE: COULD HAVE
Hendo, 44, had his first professional bout in 1997 and now boasts a 30-13 record with just one win in his last six outings.
Hendo defeated Boetsdh inside the first round via TKO.
In the co-main event heavyweights Matt Mitrione and Ben Rothwell will dance at the center of the octagon while Shawn Jordan and Derrick Lewis will headline the preliminary bouts on FOX Sports 1 in another heavyweight stunner.
The weigh-ins got off to a rough start yesterday as the first fighter to the scale missed weight by four pounds.
Also, Brian Ebersole made his 70th professional fight tonight. Unfortunately he injured his knee during the fight and could not continue.
Joe Proctor set a record with the latest submission in a three round lightweight fight, ending Justin Edwards at 4:58 of Round 3 with a guillotine.
