UFC Fight Night: Lawler vs Brown – Official Weigh-In Results
With a seven fight win streak to his credit Matt Brown should have been right on the mark knowing his next bout would be a title eliminator. Instead Brown weighed in at 172.5 pounds at Friday’s official weigh-in and will not attempt to drop any more weight. He will be fined 20 percent of his purse.
Brown was not the only fighter to miss the mark. Juliana Carneiro Lima was one pound over for her strawweight bout against Joanna Jedrzejczyk. She could not make the requirement on her second attempt was also fined 20 percent.
