UFC Fight Night Zagreb results:  Dos Santos vs Rothwell

UFC Fight Night 86 took place at Zagreb Arena in Croatia and aired on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.  For those of us here in the United States, the action started at 10:30 a.m. EST, a rare early Sunday morning packed full of action.

In the main event, a heavyweight bout featured former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos vs. Ben Rothwell.  Dos Santos (17-4) sought to get back in to title contention after a TKO loss to Alistair Overeem in December.

At stake for Rothwell (36-9), a possible title shot with a win over the former champion.  He had four consecutive wins over top ranked opponents in Overeem, former champion Josh Barnett, Matt Mitrione, and Brandon Vera before going into this fight.

It would be the Cigano, the former champion who shined throughout the fight and got back on the winning track with a unanimous decision win.
