UFC Mexico – UFC on ESPN+ 17: Rodriguez vs. Stephens Results

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Mexico City, Mexico this weekend with UFC on ESPN+ 17. The event which takes place at Mexico City Arena is headlined by a featherweight tilt between power-punching knockout artist Jeremy Stephens and Mexico’s own Yair Rodriguez.

In the night’s co-main event, former UFC strawweight champion and Ultimate Fighter Season 20 winner Carla Esparza meets Alexa Grasso on enemy turf.

Undefeated Askar Askarov will make his UFC debut when he takes on “The Assassin Baby” Brandon Moreno.

Also, Brazilian Vanessa Melo will make her UFC debut against Mexico’s Irene Aldana.  Melo missed weight yesterday, coming in four pounds over the limit and was fined 30 percent of her fight purse.
