UFC on ESPN 11 salaries: Jim Miller leads the pack with record-tying UFC apperance
UFC on ESPN 11 went down on Saturday night and now the salaries have been revealed where Jim Miller leads the way after his record-tying UFC appearance.
Miller tied Donald Cerrone with the most UFC fights with 35 and did so with a first-round submission win over Roosevelt Roberts. The win also netted him another Performance of the Night bonus to lead the way for salaries with $258,000 after the bonus.
The next closest was Josh Emmett, where after the FOTN bonus, netted $202,000, while Curtis Blaydes made $180,000 for his decision win over Alexander Volkov. It was a dominant performance for Blaydes as he set the new heavyweight record for takedowns in a fight. But, UFC president Dana White was not happy with him after talking “a lot of s**t” and not backing it up, according to the UFC boss.
Other notable payouts from the card include Raque; Pennington netting $126,000 for her decision win over Marion Reneau, Shane Burgos making $125,000, and Belal Muhammad getting $100,000 as the only others to crack six figures.
Note, these salaries do not include any Reebok sponsorship pay or any other locker room bonuses. Or, any other sponsorships that the fighters make. The salaries were obtained by MMAFighting from the Nevada State Athletic Commission following the event.
