New Jersey native Jim Miller (31-14) continues to cement his legacy and etch his name in the UFC record books as he will make his 35th trip to the octagon at UFC on ESPN 11 on Saturday night.

Miller’s scheduled June 20 bout against Roosevelt Roberts will be contested at a catchweight of 160-pounds, five pounds more than his home down at 155-pounds.

Miller will tie Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone for first place in “most UFC bouts fought.”

He also currently holds the record of most wins in the UFC lightweight division at 19.

The 36-year old Miller will have his hands full though as he faces the 26-year old “Predator” in Roosevelt Roberst (10-1).

Roberts enters the octagon on Saturday with just one blemish to his record, a unanimous decision loss to Vinc Pichel  in June 2019.

Roberts made his name known with a second-round submission of Garrett Ross on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018.  He then went on to submit Darrell Horcher and then a unanimous decision win over Thomas Gifford before dropping the fight to Pichel. He would bounce back with wins over Alexander Yakovlev and Brok Weaver.

Tonight Roberts was looking to make a name for himself, but it took just a few short minutes for Jim Miller to force the up and comer to tap.

Roberts threw a kick to start the fight, but Miller caught it, sending Roberts down to the canvas and from there it was all Miller.  The New Jersey native looked to lock up several submissions, but was able to get the verbal tap early in the first round.

Incredible win for “A-10” Miller.
