UFC on FOX 18 results: UFC New Jersey – Johnson KO’s Bader, Northcutt loses.

UFC on FOX 18 was held today at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

In the main event, Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson defeated Ryan Bader in a UFC light heavyweight title eliminator bout via TKO’s in the very first round.

The co-main event of the night was a heavyweight bout between Josh Barnett and Ben Rothwell.  Big Ben and Barnett would bloody each other and Rothwell would submit the catch-as-catch can wrestler in the second round via submission.

Also on the card, ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt fought in his third octagon appearance, going up against Bryan Barberena.  The hype train in Northcutt was finally derailed at Barberena, a last minute replacement made Northcutt submit via arm triangle in the second round.
