UFC San Antonio Results – UFC on ESPN 4
UFC on ESPN 4, also known as UFC San Antonio, goes down Saturday, July 20, from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The event marked the promotion’s second visit to San Antonio and first since UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Stephens in June 2014.
In the main event, former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos took on British star, Leon Edwards at welterweight. Edwards would dominate the former champion en route to a unanimous decision, then called out Jorge Masvidal to see their beef inside the octagon.
Heavyweights Aleksei Oleinik and Walt Harris served as the night’s co-main event in what Oleinik described as possibly being his last professional fight. After tonight, it very well may be. It took just 12-seconds for Harris to knock Oleinik out, getting his hand raised in victory.

Juan Adams and Greg Hardy, both stars from Dana White’s Contender Series, looked to settle their differences in one of the featured bouts on the main card. The two men wouldn’t look at each other yesterday during weigh-ins. Tonight, it took just 25 seconds for Hardy to finish Adams who has been extremely vocal about the former NFL player.

Alex Hernandez hoped to bounce back from that devastating loss to ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, while former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski looked to make another title run as he took on the always dangerous Ben Rothwell.
Hernandez went the distance with Francisco Trinaldo, even getting the decision, but many were left wondering if the right call was made. Hernandez won unanimously on the scorecards, even surprising him.
Arlovski defeated Rothwell just as he did 11 years ago when they fought at Affliction: Banned. This time however, the bout was a blood bath, and an extremely entertaining matchup.
Dan Hooker was the very first fighter to get a finish tonight and it happened on the third fight on the main card. Nine previous fights all went to the judges. Hooker stopped Texas native James Vick in the first round.
What an extremely fun fight between Mario Bautista and Jin Soo Son on the preliminary portion of the card. Both men threw everything they had, back and forth, not a dull moment throughout the contest.
