Although she is coming off a loss, one where she relinquished her Invicta FC strawweight title to Herica Tiburcio, former champ the ‘Karate Hottie,’ Michelle Waterson was signed to the UFC according to a report that aired on UFC Tonight.
Waterson (12-4) lost her title at Invicta FC 10 in December and began her professional mixed martial arts debut in 2007.
She currently trains out of Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
No official word on her first appearance date or who her opponent will be.
