UFC targeting Tim Elliott vs. Brandon Royval for upcoming May 30 event
Now that UFC president Dana White has announced Las Vegas as its official home for their May 30 event, fights just continue to keep coming in.
A flyweight bout between former title challenger Tim Elliott and newcomer Brandon Royval is in the works for the event. MMA Fighting first reported the news of this upcoming bout. Elliot also made confirmed the news on his twitter account.

Tim Elliott, the TUF 24 winner, has been on losing skit as of late, dropping his last two fights. The 32-year-old is just 2-4 during in his second stint in the UFC. One of those losses came to former longtime UFC champ Demetrious Johnson.
Royval, who is coming to the UFC from the LFA promotion, has won five of his last six fights and will come into the fight on a two-fight winning streak. In 2019, he captured the LFA flyweight title by setting a promotion record for fastest submission, needing only 23 seconds to earn the win.
Before getting the call to make his debut on this card, Royval was going to compete on the upcoming season of Dana White’s Contender Series.
The main event for this card will feature a welterweight fight between former champion Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns.
