UFC Vegas 37 Winner Erin Blanchfield Open To Tracy Cortez Rematch “It Would Be Completely Different Fight”

Interview with Erin Blanchfield above

Erin Blanchfield (7-1) recaps her unanimous decision victory over Sarah Alpar (9-6) at UFC Fight Night on Sept. 18. Erin also talks about wanting on the UFC 269 card in New York next and how she’d like to avenge the only loss of her career to Tracy Cortez next.

“I feel like I’ve improved so much. I feel like all around, my striking has got so much better. I just feel like my game flows a lot better. I’ve been watching her fights in the UFC, I feel like her game is pretty similar. I would have to break it down more because I haven’t watched it that thoroughly. I was 19-years-old when I fought her and she was like 25. So now the 22-year-old version of me, it’s a whole different fighter. So I think it would be a completely different fight if we fought again.”
