UFC Vegas 40 results – Ladd vs. Dumont
UFC Vegas 40 goes down Saturday night, October 16, from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Aspen Ladd is getting the opportunity of a lifetime with a main event opportunity after failing to make weight earlier in the month and not being able to compete that night.
Ladd will move up to 145-pounds to face Norma Dumont in tonight’s main event after coming in heavy for the 136-pound bantamweight limit against Macy Chiasson several weeks ago.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and Carlos Felipe will meet in the evening’s co-main event, while Jim Miller will continue to stake his claim of “most fights in the octagon” as he meets Erick Gonzalez at lightweight.
