Elias Theodorou (17-3) discusses his middleweight fight against Matt Dwyer (11-7) at Rise FC 6 on March 13. Elias also talks about making history as the first fighter given an exception for marijuana use in MMA.
“Since parting ways with the UFC – being a free agent – that’s what lead me into (fighting) in a jurisdiction that recognizes my fundamental right to medicate (using marijuana) by my doctor. And I can’t be more thankful to the B.C. commission for looking at my case and approving it by its merits.”
