OKTAGON 54, Makwan Amirkhani

UFC veteran Makwani Amirkhani talks OKTAGON debut Mar. 2, moving up to 155-pounds & Ilia Topuria as new champion

Interview with Makwan Amirkhani below

Makwan Amirkhani (17-9) discusses his lightweight fight against Mochamed Machaev (13-1) at OKTAGON 54 on Mar. 2. Makwan also spoke about how this opportunity came together, competing in the lightweight division and his mindset going into this fight.

“This is like a father and a son. This is how I see it. Like a father who is teaching his kid how to fight. He will realize very soon in that fight, that damn this is another level of fighting. This is another level of athlete. I’m not going coming into this fight with looking at everything it can possibly be, that can make me the winner.”

Oktagon 54 goes down live from the Ostravar Arena in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
