UFC veteran Melvin Guillard signs with WSOF
Melvin “The Young Assassin” Guillard (31-13-2 MMA) has signed a multi-fight deal with the World Series of Fighting (WSOF). Guillard released this information last night via his twitter account (@Young_Assassin).
Guillard was released by the UFC three weeks ago after his decision loss to Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 38. He amassed a 12-9 record with one no contest during an on-and-off 9-year career in the UFC.
“The Young Assassin” does not have an opponent yet; however, he may be making his debut for the new promotion late this summer (July or August).
