UFC veteran Melvin Guillard signs with WSOF
Melvin “The Young Assassin” Guillard (31-13-2 MMA) has signed a multi-fight deal with the World Series of Fighting (WSOF). Guillard released this information last night via his twitter account (@Young_Assassin).
Guillard was released by the UFC three weeks ago after his decision loss to Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 38. He amassed a 12-9 record with one no contest during an on-and-off 9 year career in the UFC.
“The Young Assassin” does not have an opponent yet, however he may be making his debut for the new promotion late this summer (July or August).
