UFC vs WBC on Celebrity Family Feud – Thursday, Oct. 29
Teams of celebrities and their families face off to name the top responses to questions posed to 100 people. That’s the premise of Celebrity Family Feud, hosted by Steve Harvey. The show features teams of celebrities playing as a family for charity purposes, rather than the usual format of real families playing for cash and prizes.
Most episodes feature two self-contained games, each concluding with Fast Money. Teams earn $25,000 for their chosen charity by winning Fast Money, or $10,000 if they fail to reach 200 points. Teams who lose the main game receive $5,000 for their charity.
This week Celebrity Family Feud features UFC vs WBC, the stars of the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion taking on stars of the World Boxing Council.
The WBC team, which will be competing for the “Andy Vargas Foundation,” is made up of lightweight Silver champion Ryan Garcia, former champions Evander Holyfield, Shawn “Showtime” Porter and Riddick “Big Daddy” Bowe; plus the President of the WBC Mauricio Sulaimán.
On behalf of the UFC team, which will play for the “V Foundation,” the fighters include UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin, former flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo, Michelle Waterson, former bantamweight champion Holly Holm and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
The broadcast of this episode will be this Thursday, October 29 (8: 00-9: 00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
