Valerie Loureda returns at Bellator 243 following long layoff
Valerie Loureda is making her way back after spending over a year away from the Bellator cage,
On Wednesday, July 29, the promotion announced she is set to fight Tara Graff in a women’s flyweight matchup at Bellator 243 on Aug. 7. The bout will take place on the preliminary portion of the card in Uncasville, Conn.

Loureda’s last fight came at Bellator 222 in July 2019, earning a unanimous decision against Larkyn Dasch. Loureda is unbeaten at 2-0, defeating Colby Fletcher via first-round TKO at Bellator 216 in February 2019.
The 22-year-old was scheduled to fight Graff at Bellator 238 in January, but withdrew due to injury.
Graff is set to make her Bellator debut. The 34-year-old hasn’t competed since 2018 after fighting her only two professional bouts in the span of a month.
She is 1-1 with a first-round TKO win against Marisol Ruelas at King of the Cage: New Frontier in October 2018.
