Vanessa Demopoulos previews upcoming fight; talks previous career as an exotic dancer

Vanessa Demopoulos is living her life to the fullest.

After years of hard work and sacrifice, the former LFA strawweight now finds herself in MMA’s biggest promotion and on Saturday she’ll make her second walk to the UFC octagon.

When Demopoulos made her UFC debut back in October, she did it the hard way as she accepted a fight with veteran JJ Aldrich on short notice and the fight took place at flyweight as opposed to her natural weight class of strawweight.

While the chips may have been stacked against her in her first outing, Demopoulos is ready to showcase her skills at UFC Vegas 46 against Silvana Gomez Juárez as Demopoulos believes fighting at 115 pounds and having a full training camp will make a huge difference in her performance.

Prior to the fight, Demopoulos spoke with MyMMANews about the fight and training at Fight Ready in Phoenix, Ariz.

Aside from talking about life as a professional athlete, Demopoulos also talked about her life prior to fighting. Before Demopoulos was fighting on the biggest, she worked on a different stage to say least as she worked for a number of years as an exotic dancer.

Between exotic dancing and fighting, Demopoulos has seen a lot in this world from traveling across the United States and other countries, to writing a book about the night life scene associated with exotic dancing.

To hear everything that Demopoulos had to say about dancing, fighting and traveling, you can watch her full interview in the video above.
