VIDEO: Alex Pereira grapples with Polyana Viana ahead of UFC 300
UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is focusing on his ground game ahead of his UFC 300 headlining title defense against former champion Jamahal Hill.
The title defense serve as the main event to a historic fight card held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 13.
In the below video, “Poaton” can be seen grappling with various training partners at Glover Teixeira’s Gym. In the clip produced by
Korner Management, you will see Pereira training with fellow Brazilian Polyana Viana, a female strawweight in the UFC women’s division.
Just last weekend, Pereira, also the former UFC middleweight champion, attended Maverick 27 in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania to support several of his teammates. His coach, Teixeira, and Viana, were also there to offer advice and backing of their fighters.
