Vitoldas Jagelo arrested after alleged knife attack on two women at New Year’s Eve party
Vitoldas Jagelo, a professional mixed martial artist out of Lithuania, has been arrested after an alleged attack on two women while brandishing a knife.
The incident occurred at a private New Year’s Eve party and resulted in multiple injuries including a broken nose, loss of teeth, and a finger wound.
Viktorija Pometko, one of the victims, claims that the alleged attack was unprovoked and took place in front of their young children.
Local police confirmed that Jagelo was taken to a local detention center, but it is uncertain whether he has been charged formally with any offense.
Jagelo last competed in a professional MMA fight in June, securing a draw against Klaidas Lukasevcius at the KOK Classic mixed martial arts tournament. He made his pro MMA debut with King of the Cage in 2017.
