Warrior Wednesday IV results – Edwards vs. Black
Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting hosts Warrior Wednesday IV on Wednesday, July 3, from Crystal Gardens in Southgate, Michigan. The event which will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass is headlined by a welterweight title bout between former UFC fighter Justin Edwards and champion Willis Black.
Edwards (10-6), comes to the promotion with a third round submission win over Carlo Prater last summer. “Silverback” Black entered the contest riding a three fight win-streak with the promotion.
Black retains the title after finishing the challenger and former Ultimate Fighter contestant in under a minute by way of knockout.

The night’s co-main feature paired Calie “The Honey Badger” Cutler up against Barchinaya Uzginbaeva of Kyrgyzstan.
Uzginbaeva had a 4-1 record with two finishes to her name and would provide a tough challenge to the Michigan Top Team product, but the Honey Badger saw a very specific outcome happening.
“I’m gonna knock her out,” Cutler told MyMMANews.com prior to the fight. Cutler did not knock her opponent out but was dominant throughout the fight, earning 30-25 on two judges’ scorecards.
Four other fights rounded out the main card, and one amateur fight was held at a catchweight of 150-pounds to kick the evening off in Michigan.
Ryan McIntosh came in on extremely short notice to take on Zkakwarius Jose Johnson, who had eight opponents name, only to have all fall through before tonight’s bout came to fruition. McIntosh looked good, bringing the fight to Johnson before the two stood up and traded. It was at that moment that a loud pop sounded and McIntosh immediately dropped and tapped. Commentators thought the result was a broken hand but it was an elbow from Johnson that sliced McIntosh open good, causing him to tap.
