Warrior Wednesday IV results – Tweey vs. Brown

Thanksgiving Eve will host Warrior Wednesday IX from Crystal Gardens in Southgate, Michigan.  The action will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.

The Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting action gets going at 8pm inside the WXC steel for ‘The tussle before turkey.’

The opening bout featured a pair of super heavyweights.  Not much to write about here as the fight was over in just 24 seconds.  Lawrence Bonds unloaded on Ryan Hall, forcing him to drop the canvas and cover up before the referee called an end to the contest.

Bonds gets a birthday win for his son.

Switching gears from the super heavyweights, down to the heavyweight, WXC scheduled two bouts with a limit of 265-pounds. In the first, Jonathan Martin gets the first round technical knockout win over Abel Valdez while Marcus Maulding finishes Carlton Little early on with a standing guillotine choke.

The co-main event, a welterweight contest, a unanimous decision ruled in favor of Khaos Williams over Jeremie Holloway.   Williams looks to earn a contract with the UFC following the win.

The main event was a beautiful display of striking by Chris Brown who battered and bloodied Austin Tweedy to get an early first round technical knockout win.
